Application portals often ask for a single PDF, a particular page size, or a maximum file size. Start by checking the portal’s requirements: accepted formats, size limit, and whether every document belongs in one file.
Put the right pages in the right order
Use Merge PDF for existing PDFs, or Images to PDF for JPG and PNG scans. Then use Organize PDF to move pages and exclude duplicates. Read the final document from beginning to end before submitting.
Check dimensions and legibility
If the portal requests A4 or US Letter, use Resize PDF pages. This changes page dimensions; it does not guarantee a smaller file. Text and photographs should remain readable at ordinary viewing size.
Reduce size only when necessary
Our PDF compressor renders pages as images. It is intended for image-heavy documents and removes selectable text and interactive fields. Keep the original. Compare the displayed output size and inspect the downloaded PDF before uploading it to the portal.
Handle sensitive documents carefully
The tools linked above run on your device. Office-to-PDF tools use server processing and ask you to confirm the upload. Changing a signed document can invalidate its digital signature.
