Questions about Split PDF

Are my files uploaded?

This tool processes files in your browser. File contents are not uploaded to FileToast. Downloads stay wherever you save them.

Does this extract pages into one PDF or separate files?

This tool creates one PDF containing your selected pages. Use Split PDF into files to get separate page PDFs in a ZIP.

Can I choose the output page order?

Yes. A range such as 3, 1 extracts page 3 before page 1. Visual checkboxes remove pages or append newly selected pages to your selection.

What are the file and processing limits?

Up to 50 MB per file. Large or complex files can exceed your device’s or the converter’s capacity.

THE SHORT VERSION

Your documents stay with you.

FileToast processes PDF contents in your browser. We do not upload your documents, save their contents on a server, or require an account.

The hosting provider receives ordinary requests for the website and its assets, which may include your IP address and browser information. FileToast uses Google Analytics to measure website visits and interactions; Google may process online identifiers and device or browser details. The private guide editor uses a secure sign-in cookie.

Your files and generated downloads are held temporarily in browser memory. Clear the files or close the tab to release them. Downloads you save remain on your device.

FileToast uses PDF-LIB and PDF.js.
